Unit 4

Unit 4

Unit 4 is the residence of the current family owners (on-site home for almost 40 years) of the entire compound.  The custom-built home, with 6” walls, has 3-floors and not an inch wasn’t planned for good use to raise three sons.

The main floor is completely open concept with a kitchen (Corian one-piece counters and sinks, tiled floors), dining area, down to a sunken living room, all viewing south to the lake and beach waterfront views.  A large waterside deck can be accessed from the sliders or steps on the side of the home.  The lakeside is almost all glass with views from anywhere on the floor.  A small bathroom is just inside the entrance (the custom-made wood vanity and medicine cabinets and matching mirror are unique and high quality), and stairways lead either up or down to other levels, with a large closet in between.

The second floor has a master waterside bedroom, almost all glass with sliders and a small deck, an entire wall of closet space, beautifully carpeted with nice décor and furniture.  Another bedroom has been updated for grandkids, but can hold several bunk beds and it also has a large closet.  The full bathroom is also new, and like on the main floor, the custom-made wood vanity and medicine cabinets and matching mirror are unique and high quality.

The basement is also open to the lakeside with a concrete slab patio under the main floor deck.  It was originally designed with a garage door, rear entrance, and window, however it quickly changed to a family room (for the sons) with a large front room for everything.  Since the family has grown up and out, now used for home gym equipment and home office.  There are several large closets, and a well-planned cabinet pantry/laundry/mud/shower room.  A closet is used for inside fuel tank storage and another is the utility room for the oil-fired Series 2000 furnace for the forced hot water heating baseboard system with zones for each floor and a dedicated zone for the limitless supply large hot water tank.
